The house standard

A heavyweight tee should feel intentional before anyone reads the back.

TIPSY. starts with a 280 GSM jersey in 100% combed cotton: dense enough to hold its shape, soft enough to stay in the weekly rotation. The relaxed boxy cut gives the fabric room to fall cleanly through the body.

01 · Weight

280 GSM jersey

Substantial without turning rigid. The extra weight gives a cleaner drape, a more structured shoulder and less of the thin, clingy feel of an ordinary souvenir tee.

02 · Fibre

100% combed cotton

Combing removes shorter fibres before the yarn is made. The result is a smoother hand, a more even surface for print and a fabric designed to age with fewer distractions.

03 · Cut

Relaxed and boxy

A generous chest, dropped shoulder and straighter body. Choose your usual size for the intended silhouette; size down when you want it closer. Use the measurements, not guesswork.

04 · Print

Front restraint, back story

A quiet TIPSY. mark sits at the chest. The illustrated plate belongs on the back, where the drink, recipe and house typography have enough room to breathe.

Made for the second round.

Weight matters because a T-shirt is architecture in miniature. A denser jersey keeps the neck, shoulder and hem legible after hours of wear. It also gives linework a stable surface, so the illustration reads as a considered print instead of decoration pasted onto fabric.
